When CSS (Custom Sight and Sound) from Essex, asked us to quote on this rather large piece of smoked mirror glass with an integrated TV, we did so, but a little nervously. The piece of glass is substantially larger than the TV, and it’s also rather high on the wall.
This does pose some logistical challenges. Not only during transportation, but also installation. Once the wall was fully plastered and completed, we went on site to measure and template for the piece of glass. With large lengths like this, the shapes are rarely exactly square, so we have to take this into account.
On the day of installation, we had to rent a larger van that we own, due to the height of the glass. If you watch the video below, you’ll see a short time-lapse of the installation, and how it all came together. We manufacture Mirror TV products day in day out. Some small, and some very large. But when we get to do something like this, it’s both fun and exciting.
We are looking forward to revisiting this home after it’s all been furnished and completed.
